Sítio Tarumã - fine coffee from the Brazilian heart of the mountains
In the heart of the picturesque mountain region of Serra da Mantiqueira, at an altitude of up to 1,300 metres, is the family farm Sítio Tarumã - a place where exceptional coffee is born with respect for nature, tradition and honest work.
Behind this farm is Eduardo Daniel da Silva, the youngest son of a family with deep roots in agriculture. His parents, Sebastião and Hilda, started out as workers on rice and banana plantations. But in the 1990s, they found their heart in coffee. When Eduardo was 18 years old, he took over one of the farms in the Sertãozinho community and named it Sítio Tarumã.
