Our new coffee from Ethiopia is the perfect choice for those who love fresh and fruity flavours. This coffee is characterized by sweetness with medium acidity and offers a rich flavor profile of peach cake, honey blossom, carambola and subtle notes of thyme tea. The washed processing makes this coffee very clean and light, making it an ideal coffee for summer refreshment. 

Etiopie Dimi Tula

This coffee comes from the Uraga region of Guji, known for its rich coffee culture and ideal conditions for growing coffee trees. Local farmers here grow indigenous Ethiopian varieties at high altitudes from 1900 to 2400 metres, which contributes to the exceptional quality of their coffee. The Dimi Tula processing plant plays a key role in the production of this coffee, carefully overseeing every step of the process to ensure the highest possible quality of the final product. The harvest took place in January 2024, when the coffee cherries are carefully selected and processed. Uraga offers stunning scenery of the Ethiopian countryside and ideal conditions for growing coffee.

The washed processing of this coffee is essential to achieve its clean and clear flavour profile. After harvesting, the coffee cherries are thoroughly cleaned and fermented in water, allowing the pulp to be removed and the natural flavours of the beans to be brought out. This process ensures that each bean retains its unique flavour characteristics and brings fresh and refreshing notes to the cup. After fermentation, the beans are evenly sun-dried, ensuring that all the aromatic components are preserved. Thanks to this careful processing method, the coffee retains its freshness and complexity, making it an ideal choice for filter brewing during the summer months.
